We made our pick! After tasting through over 5 barrels (and maybe a few Tequila barrels as well), we landing on one great bourbon barrel! It was a really tough choice but Barrel 21 won the day.
Tasting Notes:
Age: 5 years- barreled on 2/29/16
Proof: 118.8
Nose: Rich butter cream, brown sugar and maple syrup
Palate: Oil and sweetness that transitions to creamy caramel butter, brown sugar and red hot candy as it finishes long with spice and great balance.
This barrel with benefit the Emily Yott Foundation and has no bottle limits. Grab a few so you won't regret not having one later and before they are gone!
